A visit to hospital

It was a dark and stormy night.It was raining cats and dogs outside.My family and i are waiting worriedly for my elder brother , Ken.It was already passedmidnight and he had not reached home.Ken went to his friend,john's house, for the school's science project.He promised that he would probably reach home at about 10 pm.But it is now passed midnight.The house was so quiet as were thinking where could my brother be..."Ring!Ring!Ring!"the telephone rang.My parent went to answer the call.My sister and i were sitting on the sofa , listening to my parent's conversation."Hello?May i speak to Ken's parents?"A policeman said."yes,I am ...What happened?"my mother said worriedly.The policeman told my mother what had happened to my brother.She started sobbling uncontrollably.We knew that something bad must happened."What happened,mum?"I askes curiously."Well...Let's go...to...to...the hospital now...when we reach there...I...will...will...tell you..."mum replied sadly.Finally,we reached the hospital.I wanted to ask my mother to tell me what have happened.But i did not want her to be sad again.So,I did not ask her.I saw many people in the hospital .Some were on bed,others on wheelchair or clutches."Ken!Are you alright?"Mum asked anxiously."He is sure alright,dear..."Dad said clamly."Mum,Dad,I'm fine...I had just fallen into a drain.No big problem!"Ken repiled.He got an injured head,one broken arm and one broken leg.He will be discharged that day if his condition stabilised.I felt so sad for those people who was in the hospital,lying on bed,wheelchair and clutches.Then,a doctor came in."Ken,you can be discharged today...Please remember to come back to the hospital for a checkup next week!"The doctor said.Then,my sister, my parents and I healped to pack my brother bag.As my father was checking out for my brother,my sister and I aasked Mum , "what actually happened,Mum?""Oh...Your careless brother dropped his contact lens and he cannot see properly And hhe dropped inside a canal!"Mum replied.From then onwards,my brother ,Ken, will not be so careless.He would not wosh to enter the hospiutal or step near it anymore

Teachers' Day

"All studends from primary one to primary six,please queue up now and get ready to go to the hall for the teachers' day concert!"announced by Mrs Tan by the PA system.
Our class,5.10,went outside as no teacher were around.They had went to the hall to prepare all the things needed for the concert.As soon as we queue up neaty ,we walked slowly to the hall.Soon,we reached the hall.We settled down and enjoy ourselves with the air-con.
Once all the classes reached the hall,the concert starts.The first performance is alot of students wearing different kinds of racial costumes dancing.
"BANG!"two of the performers bang onto each other,groaning.Most of the students started laughing.I felt that they were rude!
"Please stop laughing!They practiced so hard and performed for you!Just do some reflections now!What if you are the one on the stage?"Mrs Tan scolded us.
"Serve them right!"A naughty boy called Jason said happily.
Then,Mrs Tan angrily walked to the boy,who really deserve scolding.She bought him out of the hall and scold,"Stop it!Let me think of a performance to let you dance...Oh...Let me put in another performance!The 'chicken' dance performance!Come'on Jason!You will dance!Well,serve you right too!"
"Sorry,Mrs Tan!I don't want to dance that DUMB dance!Please give me a chance!"Jason pleaded.
But it was already too late!Mrs Tan called another teacher to take a chicken costumeto give Jason to wear for the chicken dance...
Soon,the concert had come to the end and it was time for Jason's performance!All of us had waited this for long!Finally,Jason came out from the backstage wearing a chicken costume.When we saw it,all of us laughed as if our teeth were going to drop soon!His face turned as red as a tomato.
The whole school had a funny teachers' day this year,that we could not even forget it!
